Penicilina G. Procaína Oleosa is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible Gram-positive bacteria, including Streptococcus species such as Streptococcus agalactiae. It may be used in veterinarian-directed treatment of calf pneumonia, septicemia, mixed bacterial metritis, blackleg, malignant edema, anthrax, tetanus, cystitis and infectious pyelonephritis. It may also be used as supportive prophylaxis in situations such as shipping stress and following surgical procedures when bacterial infection is a concern.
