No product sold on this site is intended, labelled or suitable for use in people. Products are not human medicines, foods, cosmetics or dietary supplements, and none has been evaluated by any authority for safety or efficacy in humans.

We will not supply any product where the stated or apparent intent is human use.

Veterinary direction

Veterinary medicines should be administered following a clinical examination and under the direction of a veterinarian licensed in the jurisdiction where the animal is kept.

Where a product is marked prescription only on this site, we require a valid veterinary prescription before despatch.

The dose ranges published on product pages reproduce the manufacturer's labelled reference for the attending veterinarian. They are not instructions to the purchaser, and they are not a substitute for a diagnosis. Dose depends on the individual animal's weight, condition, organ function, concurrent medication and clinical presentation.

Your attestation

By placing an order you confirm that:

• You are purchasing for veterinary use in animals only
• You are a trainer, yard manager, stud operator, veterinary professional or otherwise responsible for the care of the animals concerned
• Prescription products will be used only under the direction of a licensed veterinarian
• You will observe the withdrawal periods and medication rules applying to any competition your animals enter
• You have confirmed that importing these products is lawful in your jurisdiction and hold any permit your authority requires
• You will store, use and dispose of the products in accordance with the label and with local law

This attestation is recorded with your order and is available to you and to us afterwards.

Withdrawal periods and competition rules

Withdrawal and detection times published on this site are the manufacturer's guidance. They are not guarantees, and they are not a substitute for your racing or competition authority's current rules.

Detection times are derived from controlled studies at specific doses and routes in small groups of healthy animals. Individual animals vary. Analytical sensitivity changes. Repeat dosing produces accumulation that single-dose studies do not measure.

Under essentially every racing rulebook, the trainer or person responsible is strictly liable for any substance found in the animal. You must confirm the applicable rules with your own authority and allow a safety margin above any published detection time.

Several products on this site are prohibited in competition outright. This is stated on the product page where it applies.

Food-producing animals

Camels are food-producing animals in many jurisdictions. Where a product carries a meat or milk withdrawal period it is stated on the product page. Some products are not permitted in food-producing animals at all, and this is stated where it applies.

It is your responsibility to observe residue withdrawal periods before any animal or its milk enters the food chain.

No performance claims

CamelVet Store makes no claim that any product will improve a competitive result. Product descriptions state what a product contains and what it is formulated for. They are not claims about outcomes and must not be read as such.
